Welcome to my blog. Nice of you to pop in.

Welcome to my blog, and as you can see it’s stunningly empty. Why I hear you ask? Well, I’m blaming it on the hacker who wiped my wordpress clean. Which is not that cool for you or I, but I’m sure he or she had a huge sense of satisfaction by successfully destroying my blog. Shit happens.

Which leads me onto the question at hand. Will I start blogging again? I’d like to, but realistically I’m not sure how much time I can devote to it. Like everything else I do, I have to do it properly (or it’s just not worth doing right?).

This portfolio is also so out of date it’s almost not worth looking at. Since I put this site up three years ago I’ve learnt more professionally than the culmination of all the years preceding the brandempire launch. How to be a leader, how to inspire creativity in a team, when to recruit, who to hire and how to write a path to inspire your team forward. When to work hard, when to work harder and when to work the hardest.

This portfolio focuses on outcomes, the creative, of work and very little about the process of integrating products and processes into the brand architecture. And though I still love getting creative on projects, my next portfolio will focus much more on the measurable results of the creative projects I’ve developed rather than the creative in and of itself.

So am I going to redo Brandempire? Well yes, I want to. It’s going to be tough redesigning my site, I’ve had such positive feedback and and really thankful for all the authors and web editors who published the design. But it’s time for the new.
